Salt, ice melt, and antifreeze
Ice-melting products can irritate paws and cause illness when licked or swallowed. Antifreeze containing ethylene glycol can be deadly. Prevent licking on treated surfaces, clean paws promptly, store products securely, and clean spills immediately.
If exposure or ingestion is possible, contact your veterinarian or animal poison control immediately. Do not wait for symptoms.
